Improving job generation algorithm

I’m in Alaska now, at one of the airports in Anchorage. Searched for the jobs, chose Quick Jobs and Next Door options. Got a few 1-passenger jobs with funny distances 3 and 6 miles. Yeah, I didn’t mean this close when selecting next door…

So, the idea is to have job distances dependent on ground transportation. Even for a 10-mile job in the city one would probably take a cab, and reach the destination faster. It might be different story in the wild, of course.

Would it be possible to check jobs against ground transportation option using something like Google Maps or Open Streets? It would look more authentic if air option would be available only if ground takes significantly more time, like 3-5x slower?

For quick jobs to the nearby airports, 3-6 miles away, ferry flights would be the best options
